Better Technology Containerized Fire Pump System consists of the pump, driver (motor & diesel), controller and accessories mounted on a common base. These systems use high quality UL/FM approved components. This engineered package meets the various requirements for this type of pump as detailed in the Packaged Fire Pump Assemblies section of NFPA 20. All necessary wiring between the controller and the drive is done at the factory. Valves, gauges are installed on the fire pump and other accessories are installed on prefabricated interconnecting piping required by NFPA 20.
